GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOMERS
Hikipanta.fi (Hikipanta) and their vendor websites are market places owned by Hikipanta Merch Oy (business ID / Y-tunnus 3168040-8). Following general terms and conditions apply only in the business relationships between Hikipanta and its customers.
Hikipanta reserves the right to unilaterally change the contract terms below without prior notice. The terms of the contract valid at the time of the order apply to business relations which appear on the hikipanta.fi website. Changes in the law apply immediatly as is unless otherwise specified by the law.
Hikipanta is not responsible for damages caused by force majeure. The customer will be informed as soon as possible should such impediment come apparent.
1 CUSTOMER
Hikipanta sells services and products to adult consumers and companies. If you are under 18-years of age, you must have your guardians permission to make purchases in our online store.
In the consumer trade, valid consumer protection legislation of Finland and the European Union is followed. These terms and conditions are not valid to the extent that they limit the consumer's rights for parts that are ruled by mandatory legislation.
The Finnish Commercial Code is applied in contracts between business customers and Hikipanta, unless otherwise specified between the customer and or in these terms and conditions.
When placing an order the customer is obliged to hand over their complete contact details that contain at least the following: name, their address, a working phone number and email address
Information obliged to be given by business customers are the following: name of the contact person and their phone number, email address, business ID (Y-tunnus), mailing address, phone number or numbers and billing address if necessary.
Delivery time estimates are prepared based on the information received from logistical companies. Hikipanta or its logistics partners are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen changes coming from outside of their spheres of influence. The trade agreement enters into force at the moment the order is registered into Hikipanta ordering system.
The customer information is saved into the Hikipantas customer register. The information is used for maintaining and taking care of customer relations.
The right of cancellation or return under consumer protection law does not apply to business and public sector customers unless otherwise agreed in writing. Orders placed by business and public sector customers are binding from the moment the order is made.
Hikipanta withholds the right to cancel the purchase if there is reason to suspect fraud. All suspicions of fraud are reported to the police.
2 PRODUCTS AND PRICE LIST
The prices of the products are available on hikipanta.fi and its vendor sites. Prices include possible VAT (value added tax).
If the prices of the products change before the order is processed, the ordered products will be delivered at the original price. If changes are made to the order, the price will be determined according to the price at the time of the change. When the price drops, we deliver the product at a new, lower price. The product images in the online store are indicative and the product for sale may differ from the product image. We reserve the right to make changes to the model of the product to be sold.
VIDEOTERVEHDYKSET
Videotervehdykset ovat digitaalisia sisältöjä, jotka valmistetaan asiakkaan tilauksesta ja toimitetaan sähköisesti.
Videotervehdyksen valmistus aloitetaan heti tilauksen jälkeen. Hyväksymällä tilauksen asiakas antaa suostumuksensa siihen, että palvelun suoritus alkaa välittömästi ja että hän menettää kuluttajansuojalain mukaisen peruuttamisoikeuden.
Videotervehdyksillä ei ole vaihto- eikä palautusoikeutta.
Videotervehdyksiä ei saa jakaa tai käyttää kaupalliseen tarkoitukseen.
GIFT CARD
A gift card is a method of payment and does not have a right of cancellation or return under consumer protection law.
The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.
If a product purchased with a gift card is returned, the refund will be issued back to the gift card.
The consumer has for 14 days the right to cancellation of the trade according to the consumer protection law (kuluttajansuojalaki) (for terms, see part 5) 14 days, excluding gift cards and video greetings (see terms in Section 5).
3 PAYMENT METHODS
3.1 PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER
Paytrail Oyj (Business ID / Y-tunnus 2122839-7) is the implementer and the provider of the payment brokerage service in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the vendor. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license issued by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. In cases of complaints we ask you primarily contact the supplier of the product.

3.2 ONLINE BANKS
The payment intermediary service related to online banking payments is provided by Paytrail Oyj (Business ID / Y-tunnus 2122839-7) in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. From the point of view of the user the service acts like normal traditional online payment.
DELIVERY METHODS
Delivery methods are available and can be seen on Hikipanta website and its vendor sites. Delivery times can vary product by product and delivery time estimate is indicated on the product pages.
The average order delivery time is 5-10 working days to Finland and 10-15 working days within EU
If the products of the order have different delivery times, the order will be delivered according to the product with the longest delivery time.
We deliver your order via Posti, Matkahuolto, or another delivery service either directly to your mailbox or, if the package does not fit, to the nearest pickup point where you can collect it. You have 5 days to pick up your package from the pickup point.
We reserve the right to delays caused by the supplier as well as by Posti or Matkahuolto. We also reserve the right to longer delivery times during public holidays and campaigns.
In the event of delivery delays, you have the right to cancel your purchase, provided that your order has not yet been shipped. Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, it can no longer be canceled; instead, it will be delivered to your mailbox or to a pickup point, where you can collect it within 5 days.
Uncollected orders will be returned to our warehouse. An uncollected package does not count as a cancellation of the order. A fee of €15 will be charged for uncollected packages to cover delivery, return, and handling costs..
5 PRODUCT RETURNS
Each product purchased from hikipanta.fi or its merchant sites is made to order for the customer. Therefore, we encourage customers to carefully consider details such as the correct size before placing an order. Although the products are made to order, consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under consumer protection law, unless the product is clearly personalized or custom-made at the customer’s request. Size charts for clothing can be found on the product pages.
Mikäli tuote/tuotteet personoidaan tai yksilöllisesti muokataan asiakkaan toiveiden mukaan tuotteella ei ole palautus-/peruutusoikeutta.
Returns for our products are subject to a fee. The right of return does not apply to products that have been personalized for the customer, for example with their name or another identifier. A €5 return and handling fee will be charged for all returns, which will be deducted from the refund. Exchanges are not available. In case of an exchange, the customer can return the product and place a new order for the desired item.
The returned products must be completely unused and it must have all the tags intact and in place.
If the entire order is returned, we will refund the price of the products, but not the shipping costs.
If only part of the order is returned, we will refund the price of the returned products, but not the shipping costs.
Product returns damaged due to insufficient packaging are not covered by the right of return.
We recommend contacting our customer serviceasiakaspalvelu@hikipanta.fibefore making a return in order to receive return instructions. Contacting us is not required in order to exercise your right of return.
The right of return is valid for 14 days from the moment the customer has received the products they ordered.
Giftcards and video greetings do not have a right of cancellation or return.
In cases of return, a refund will be made with the same payment method that customer has used to make the original payment. Not as a bank transfer, for example.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
If the customer wishes to return a product/products, we recommend contacting our customer service. asiakaspalvelu@hikipanta.fiPlease use “Product return” as the subject line of the message.
The product(s) should be returned via Posti or Matkahuolto. Please pack the items carefully, for example in the same package in which they were delivered. Attach the return shipping label to the outside of the parcel.
We process the return when the package has been arrived to our warehouse in Espoo, Finland.
6 WARRANTY AND PRODUCT DEFECTS
6.1 Warranty
Our liability for errors is determined by applicable law. If you notice a defect in your products, please be contact to our customer service even if the 14 days return time has expired. We are responsible for all defects that were in the product when you received it, even in cases a defect is noticed at later time. However you should inform us of the defect in reasonable time after you have noticed it.
Warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty, nor is damages caused by outside factors, such as accidents or use of the product contrary to care instructions or instructions for use.
If the product has a valid manufacturer's warranty, the warranty conditions are determined in accordance with the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
Following items should be attached to return under warranty:
- Order confirmation or receipt sent to your email
- Contact details (working phone number, address and email address)
- Written statement of the fault or product defect

6.2 Product defects
Hikipanta vastaa siitä, että tuotteet ovat toimitushetkellä sovitun mukaisia ja virheettömiä kuluttajansuojalain tarkoittamalla tavalla. Jos olet saanut viallisen tuotteen tai epäilet, että olet saanut viallisen tuotteen, ota meihin yhteyttä sähköpostitse osoitteeseen asiakaspalvelu@hikipanta.fi.
Tuotteessa katsotaan olevan virhe, jos se ei vastaa niitä ominaisuuksia, laatua tai käyttökelpoisuutta, joita kuluttajalla on perusteltua aihetta odottaa ottaen huomioon tuotteen kuvaus, hinta ja käyttötarkoitus.
Tuotevirheenä ei pidetä:
– normaalia kulumista tai käytöstä johtuvaa kulumista
– hoito- tai käyttöohjeiden vastaisesta käytöstä aiheutuneita vaurioita
– tuotteen väärästä koosta, istuvuudesta tai henkilökohtaisesta mieltymyksestä johtuvaa tyytymättömyyttä
– vähäisiä väri-, sävy- tai mittapoikkeamia, jotka johtuvat tuotantoteknisistä syistä tai eri näyttöjen asetuksista
Kuluttajan tulee ilmoittaa havaitsemastaan virheestä kohtuullisessa ajassa siitä, kun virhe havaittiin tai olisi pitänyt havaita.
Reklamaation yhteydessä asiakkaan tulee toimittaa tilausnumero, kuvaus virheestä sekä pyydettäessä valokuvia tai muu selvitys virheen arvioimiseksi.
Hikipanta pidättää oikeuden ensisijaisesti korjata virhe, toimittaa virheetön tuote tilalle tai hyvittää tuotteen hinnan kuluttajansuojalain mukaisesti. Valittu hyvitystapa määräytyy tapauskohtaisesti.
Mikäli tuote on valmistettu asiakkaan antamien tietojen tai ohjeiden perusteella, Hikipanta ei vastaa virheistä, jotka johtuvat asiakkaan antamista puutteellisista tai virheellisistä tiedoista.
Palautettavan tuotteen tulee olla asianmukaisesti pakattu. Huolimattomasta paketoinnista johtuvat kuljetusvauriot eivät kuulu tuotevirhevastuun piiriin.
Osassa reklamaatiotilanteista pyydämme lähettämään tuotteen takaisin meille alla olevilla osoitetiedoilla.
